Welcome to FAUNA PASTEURIZERS pages
Purpose and target users of the pasteurizers
How does it work?
The FAUNA 100_1, 150_1, 200_1 and 250_1 pasteurizers are based on the time-proven FAUNA
100 mini-pasteurizer. The FAUNA pasteurizers are designed to pasteurize milk of all kinds of
livestock. They can serve as a technological node for cottage cheese, fermented milk, yoghurt
and other milk products processing. FAUNA pasteurizers are suitable for pasteurization of fruit
juices, ice mixtures and other liquid products in the food processing industry. Their compact
design makes them applicable in smaller cattle, sheep, and goat breeding. They can also be
installed in larger plants to process milk for direct sales. The device may operate directly in the
agricultural facility. Only a three-phase socket 3×400V/32A/50Hz, cold water feed, and sink for
cooling and cleaning fluids are needed to install the pasteurizer.
The FAUNA pasteurizers consist of two parts:
1. Electrical distribution board with programmable control unit and registration device
2. Three-jacket vessel made of stainless steel - see description.
The FAUNA pasteurizers are available in the following sizes: 100, 150, 200, and 250 liters. Water
runs into a double insulated jacket (three-jacket design), being warmed by electrical heaters.
This warm water provides heating of the pasteurized product through another stainless jacket.
The process of reaching and maintaining the required temperature is controlled by the
microprocessor control unit equipped with a registration device (printer) to record the
pasteurization process. The control unit allows maintaining any temperature in the range
between 5 and 95 °C with duration of 1 second to 99 hours. The pasteurization process is fully
automated with all parameters adjustable (pasteurization temperature and duration, cooling
temperature, printer output time interval). All the pasteurizer functions can be controlled manually
using the control unit, if needed. These features extend the application area of the FAUNA
pasteurizers. After the pasteurization process has been completed, milk can be cooled down by
a cold water flow. The pasteurizer includes a removable mixing unit providing even milk
warming, a cover with funnel and filter, an electromagnetic valve for water inlet and a stainless
discharge cock.
